Welcome!

Letter from the Editor...

I am completely dedicated to the concept of SubcontactorsCorner.com, and through the unity of a large membership base, I would like to focus, first, on a few goals that we may, as a team, try to accomplish.  They are as follows:

I would like to be able to approach insurance companies to try to set up discounted rates for liability, health and workers compensation for our members.

Also, I will attempt to approach some of the manufacturers to set up national accounts for the day-to-day items wa all use that can be purchased through national vendors.

Why shouldn't the specialized subcontracting trade business owners come together and take advantage of collective bargaining, and curb our ever-growing costs?  I am tired of getting hit from all angles in this trdes:  GC's on one side, vendors and manufacturers, laborers, insurance companies, etc....I work hard for my money and I hate giving it away just because it goes unchallenged.

So, join now and spread the word.  The more members that we get in on this, that share the same goals (making more money, being a better contractor, being more efficient, etc.), the more we can affect change.  Wouldn't you like to take advantage of discounts and product negotiations just like large corporations???  I know I would, and that is a big reason that I developed this website and I am willing to invest the time and money to see this through.

The forums on this website are meant for owners of subcontracting companies.  Please report any abuse or posts that do not pertain to our trades.

Your friend in construction,

Joe Roma
